NEWSPAPERS

There's an article in The Daily Telegraph (10 July 2010) with Penn and Teller.  It can be read online here.

There's an interesting article in The Daily Telegraph (30 August 2008), "Conjuring up a school by magic" - which reveals how two Old Etonians are using their skills to help a Kenyan charity.  It can be read online here.

Marcus has found a fascinating Times Higher Education article (9 October 2008) by Dale Salwak, a Professor of English at an American university, and member of the Inner Magic Circle.  It contains a lot of useful advice on how to approach and perform your magic so as to achieve maximum impact, and can be found here.

There's an interesting article in the Mail on Sunday (11 January 2009), discussing the rising value of old magic books and apparatus.      Thanks to Clive Cullum for this one.  And here's the link.

Derren Brown is interviewed in the Daily Telegraph (8 June 2009).  Here's the link.   He's also in The Times (1 June 2009).  Link.

ONLINE VIDEO CLIPS (HISTORICAL)

Below are links to Youtube footage of magicians from the past, some better known, perhaps, than others.    I find it easier to download the clips to my hard drive, then watch them, rather than watch 'online' - though if your computer is more powerful than mine, you'll probably be fine.  I hope you find something to interest you.
